Problem with combat/simulator renderingSubmitted by starrydude on Mon, 2008-04-14 18:34. Technical SupportI just started a full tech game and finished creating all the ship designs that I could possibly think of (I think that puts it around 60), but I want to test them in the simulator before using resources to build them. The regular ship pics show up in the design window just fine, but when I go into the simulator, they disappear, replaced by a random assortment of magenta horizontal lines and race pics (I don't want a ship shaped like a Norak). What's worse, I can't place the ships beforehand, because they don't show up in the combat screen, and when I do actually fight, I can't launch specific units because the game crashes with 'Access violations.' And any lingering graphics problems persist until I close the game, at which point it complains about another Access violation. Really frustrating. » read more | 3 comments |

Population based research?Submitted by Lord Shleepy on Mon, 2008-04-14 21:33. SE:V MODsDoes anyone know a way to make research population based WITHOUT changing resource production as well? I know, it is simple enough to change the population modifiers in settings.txt ... but I have slightly different ideas for research and resources and would like to make them follow different trends. Anyone already try this? Ideas? |

002. Removed - Precursor Studies
003. Added - Unique ruins 8, and I tied them into precursor tech and weapons. There is a 0.1% chance of finding it. (Instead of 0.5%)
004. Fixed - Again, I am fixing the engine bug for scouts.
005. Fixed - Baseship Construction was not working.
006. Added - Asteroids can now damage ships.
007. Addded - Small Space Yard Facility.
008. Changed - All industrial facilities (resource, construction, etc) now damage planet conditions.
