hi im using the editior and i got like 1.77 or something se5 the newest one and i keep geting a code error i have se 5 installed on my computer i tried installing the editor in the folder with se5 and in program files to and it still doesnt work is thier any other programs that need to be on the computer in order to run ?

Anyway, I think he just f*cked up his registry by moving things around.
Goto... C:\Windows\system32\ and look for a program called "regedt32.exe".
Run it and look in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\DevnullSoftware\SpaceEmpiresVEditor\" for a thing called "InstallDir".
Right click it and change it to the path were you put the exe for the spaceEmpiresVEditor.(so something like "C:\ProgramFiles\SpaceEmpiresVeditor\"
Then, goto "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Strategy First\Space Empires V\" and change the "Install Path" to where you put SE5.
Once done go back to primary school and learn how to use capitals and fullstops.
