Hi, I know that there was a few people that wanted the music from the game Ascendancy. Those threads were made last year, but if anyone is still interested, I can post the files. I can't find a thread saying that someone has done it, so I'm assuming it hasn't been done yet. If it has, let me know.
Just tell me a site where I could place the files so it can be downloaded.

Yes please, I'd love to get the set of tunes from Ascendancy. I scoured the internet and could only find the main theme tune, but I recall there were a few in a cycle which were all fantastic.
I made for myself previously a settings.txt to play some selected MOO2 & MOO3 MP3 files in SE5, but I was frustrated that SE5 would cycle the same MP3 again and again within a turn unless you took certain steps (such as adjust the BGM volume which would move it on a track). I'd love to reconstruct that with Ascendancy in there as well, it would all be very fitting and would represent my history of space 4Xing beautifully!

Yes! That's deffinitly them. They still sound pretty good 
It brings back some memories. I've heard this music for hours and hours on end 
I think they would fit nicely behind SE too.

This is great! I always remembered that while Ascendancy was hideously broken as a game, it had the best ever music for a SF genre. Now to see if I can get it to play in SEV.

Hmmmm. So what's the best way to convert wav files to mp3?

Itunes works well. You can even set the equalizer for them then convert them to MP3's. And its Free.
