Serious things about this game - close aimed VIA demo

Hello, i play/testing several time a demo this game.
I have few things for this game.
It is only informations/like as repport and do not bugs targeting. (sorry for my bad english)

This game look as one of most suficient Space Strategy for me. (awesome) Eye-wink

But i have a loots disapoints.
I hope so it is only in demo.

+) i do not understand ship desks, for what use? some diference? It be more realistic make arc. front-sides-back armor as in Starfury.
May be i like moods that make some decks or armor limitations.

++) interface of game look some dificulties and bee litle a bit chaotic. (may be its need time to adapt for this?)

+++)space combat. It is relatively EASY - i have one ship light cr. 450KT arm 910 full engines and capital misiles. I been atacked by fleet destroyers count 8 ships. They hunt me but they been in formation and front formation count about 3 ships they hunt me and i fly away.
In one way is good idea so i can survive battle with minimal damage and several damage and destroing some enemy ships.
But inteligent situation 8 ships can beat one ship if that ship do not have some good techs or eguimnet. But is enougt to make line formation and hunt me to ship net and shot me down.
There is need some AI improving.

++++) example engines will should a some litle better speed and reaction about tonage of ship.

+++++) i do not understand how work research, i make many res centers but after few turns my research from 15k droped to 7,9k but i do not understand why?

++++++) why rebeling planets how i can change to good mood? And i hope so never be posible rebeling a via spies take planet where is all population werry happy and devoted to emeperor. I lose some mega planets when i testing SEIV Gold.

+++++++) battle timing is random? Some times battle end after half minute and sometimes more than minute.

++++++++) ship equiptning make it more well-arranget or back to old SE equipt stile. But i thing not lose this good idea. Because if somoe remember for Pax Imperia 2 there ships have 4 arc armour and weapon mountings, that same have MOO series as veapons that can fire only front or side or whole ship.
In logic and realistic i thing if i have ship that weight more than 200 000 tons will have more weapon power, or armor, it is depend on technology and strong of engines and how much need of fuel/energy.

+++++++++) it bee good when i in inteligence holding buton down percents on counter inteligence roll automatic and i do not mus eq 30x times click for 30% defence.

That is now all for now i must back to remember that i forget.

I hope so developers take on this look and try little thinks about. Its onli some things about our ideas and sugest.
I hope so they do not be that folish as mister from Guick silver who dont listen me. And many people there know how MOO3 inpacted.

The decks are just to provide additional slots in case you run out - which can happen with some sets. It would be quite a challenge if full facings were added to each ship to balance, not to mention user created sets...

Right now there is only directional damage applied to inner/outer components.

For intel defense slider, a shift-click moves in units of 10.

research: when did the loss of points happen ? (in the first turn, you get a bonus, that vanishes in the second turn)

rebellion: look at the list, when you choose your society-type (anachy - ... - collective): there is written, how your people react to some events. To keep the mood up, some facilities should help, also, you can bring troops in. When you just conquered a planet, you also can arrest the surviving inhabitants in a transport ship (and bring now inhabitant of your race in). Later you can free them or not ...

battle timing: the battle ends, when the computer thinks, nothing will happen; when I play, this feature worked very good.

Thank you both mens.

But i do not take any planet, i play only that first race its look as octopus/etc.
Rioting but not how. I not have units on planet. And i not make agresivity only explore and defend.
and focus to research.
I know so that first research is starting position.

But i speak about so i construct more than 12 research centers + taht are on home planet, i build distributing empire etc.
But one turn i have about 16K research point and next trurn have lower after drop abou 7K research point per round sometimes that lite grow to example 9k.

OK if is all equipt and firning whole ship and do not arcs it is ok.
But i thing it is have some problems about defence. But if armor gone first it is ok. But i thing so arcing make more design to strategy.
May be will be suficiend only one deck and calculate slots. How many items that slot able take or how much kT able hold.

Timing in battle i do not agree. I that one example when i have one ship and been hunted by 8-10 enemy ships i damage all with misiles they run away. But i have still loots armor, suplies and full speed. I thing so i can in taht turn realtively easy destroy more than 70% of enemy fleet but time end me. Sad
