column-width

Hi,

I know, it has been addressed before, but this really annoys me
hundreds of times a day...:

I would really like to reduce the width of some columns in some list, especially
the name-column in planet-lists. (Just for my own playing - not for MOD-creation)

Can this be done ?
(I know SOME programming and can use a hex-editor ...)

Is this hardcoded in the exe ?
